Ardene House is one of only a small number of locations in the northeast of Scotland where horses and ponies can be officially measured under Joint Measurement Board (JMB) regulations. Height certificates are required by many official bodies to ensure fair competition between different sized horses and ponies. An official height certificate is obtained by having your horse or pony measured by an officially appointed measuring official on an authorized measuring pad. Annual certificates are issued each year until the horse or pony is 7 years old and when a Full / Life certificate is issued.

Horses and Ponies which compete under FEI regulations often require an FEI height certificate. This can also be obtained at Ardene House. Dr Graham Munroe, our RCVS equine specialist is only one of only two official FEI appointed measuring officials in Scotland.
