We provide a comprehensive range of services seven days a week. In the present economic climate it is important to assist in improving efficiency in production in addition to caring for the individual sick animal.

The services we provide include:

• Full laboratory back up either using our own Laboratory or via the SAC veterinary laboratory at Craibstone, which is located close to the practice. Occasionally we use other Labs.
• Provision of 24 hours cover by dedicated farm vets (link to 24 hour emergency service page).
• Advice regarding calf rearing, parasite control, fertility and nutrition advice in conjunction with a nutritionist when required etc.
• Pregnancy diagnosis - both manual and ultrasound scanning for cattle.
• Herd Health Plans and Benchmarking for Land Management Contracts.
• Routine health issues, dehorning, castrating, SEERAD testing.
• Surgery of sheep or goats at Kingswells. Premium Cattle Health Scheme (BVD, IBR, JOHNE'S & LEPTO) and Sheep Flock Scheme testing (Maedia-Visna, EAE and Scrapie).
• Regular farmer / Vet meetings.
• Fully computerised record keeping. Ensures all necessary information is available.
