Hospital Extension

Monday 22nd March saw the official opening of the Bon Accord extension to our small animal hospital. The building, which took 6 months to construct, was declared open by retired partner Crawford Clark.

This building gives us extra kennel and cattery space to deal with our inpatient animals as well as additional operating and radiography facilities and a bigger laboratory for in-house testing.

On the upper floor we have two rooms which are suitable for client meetings and CPD activities.

Bridge of Don Refurbishment

A new brighter look will greet clients who go along to our Bridge of Don surgery. We closed the premises for 2 weeks and reopened with a complete new look reception area, an additional consulting room and a revamped treatment area.

It's an altogether brighter and lighter look for the surgery and has been appreciated by staff and clients.

With effect from 26th October, Ardene House Veterinary Practice will be working with Vets Now to ensure that 24 hours a day your pet has access to a vet when they need it.

Working out of our Veterinary Hospital at Kingswells they will be dealing with out of hours calls for cats, dogs & other small animals. Their vets don't work during the day and are dedicated to providing Out of Hours Care, working alongside our own vets who are there to care for your pet during our usual opening hours.

Vets Now staff are able to give free telephone advice to Ardene House clients and will tell you if they think it’s safe to wait until morning to see a vet.

Out of Hours arrangements for horses and farm animals remain unchanged.

Never Look A Gift Horse In The Mouth – Equine Dentistry Promotion October 2009.

Dentistry visit fee only £30 (incl VAT) or no visit fee for 4 or more horses.

The no visit fee offer can be combined with our ID chip promotion which will be extended through October so 4 or more horses seen at the same time for a mix of dentistry & chipping will qualify for a free of charge visit.

Pet Smile Month - Due to the success of this we’ve extended the offer through to the end of October. Free dental checks for all cats & dogs and 20% off any dental work done on them until the end of October.

Congratulations to Nicola Jamieson & Carol Chalmers who were successful in their exams and are now fully qualified Veterinary Nurses. Also well done to Sarah Baillie who passed her final theory exam for her Equine Nursing qualification.

Buildng work is now underway on the extension to our small animal hospital facility. The new building will give more kennel and cattery space for hospitalised animals. It also houses an additional operating theatre and a dedicated small animal radiography room. Burns Construction are undertaking the work and it is scheduled for completion in December.

Congratulations to Joanna Lamont who has passed her Veterinary Nursing exams and is now an RVN.
