Andrew grew up on a mixed farm in South West Scotland; the farm was predominately dairy although there were breeding sheep and beef suckler cows. He has been with Ardene House Vet Practice Ltd since 2001 and is responsible for the Farm Animal services throughout the practice.
Andrew qualified as a veterinary surgeon from Glasgow University in 1992. Prior to working at Ardene House he gained experience in several mixed practices in the West of Scotland and the North of England. He has a particular interest in cattle and sheep, and in improving the health of both the individual animal and the herd/flock. Andrew is also a BCVS Accredited Johne’s Veterinary Adviser.
Andrew is married with two children and enjoys living and working in Aberdeenshire. In 2018 Andrew became a Clinical Director and member of the IVC Farm Animal Advisory Board. Andrew is responsible for the day to day running of the farm and equine departments
