Marta graduated from the University of Environmental and Life Sciences in February 2017, and right after it, she spent 3 month internship at Large Animals Hospital on the University of Tras-os- Montes and Alto Douro (UTAD) in Portugal, working with farm and equine patients.
As a volunteer, she has been taking an active part in the Department of Surgery and Department of Reproduction at her home University. She was always strongly involved in many scientific events and courses, such as ruminants diseases course with Prof. PhD Dr. h. c. Dipl. ECBHM Walter Baumgartner and AI training with Prof. PhD Jan Twardon.
She has a keen interest in health planning and reproduction efficiency.
In her free time, she likes to explore the region she’s currently visiting, with all its history, and of course, cuisine! In winter season, she’s ski training with her father to compete in slaloms.
Marta decided to move to Scotland because she sees great opportunity for developing her interests, and specializing in reproduction field. Also, she likes Scottish people for their valour, traditional outfits and buttery rolls.
